Summary: Drift has been watching a mysterious figure roaming in his parts of quiet and peace; he wonders why the same figure keeps coming back…

Warnings: CanonxOC. I have not read the comic book to Drift, though I’m so intending to read one day!

The past few weeks, Drift has been seeing a mysterious figure out in the valley where he usually goes to meditate. Though it made no sense to him why someone would keep coming. Unless the figure had a reason to, but he was intending to find out for himself.

As he could see from so far, the figure was slender and white just like him, but with silver skin unlike all white. Dark blue optics that shined in the sunlight as it glanced at him. He was very unsure if it was a mech or a femme, but he didn’t remember femmes being on Earth. Only on Cybertron.

One day, he was able to sneak up on the figure. Hiding in the forest, his optics watched as the figure clearly appeared. The figure walk in graceful step, on her tip toes as the figure look up to the sky. He could see the figure was just harmless, but of course looks can be deceiving.

After a few minutes, the mysterious figure could sense someone around her. Her optics narrowed lightly as she quickly pulled out her daggers and twirl them in a lightning pattern motion with the edges pointed towards her elbows. She didn’t have to think twice, she just felt that presence.

Then it suddenly hit Drift. Her body looked built as if she was ninja! Drift never encountered a bot that was ninja. The first ninja he encountered, though seeing she was startled, he appeared from the trees and raised up his servos without his swords in his servos to show he was harmless and friendly. “It’s alright fellow ninja, I’m not here to harm you.” He told her.

“Why were you watching me?” She questioned him quickly. “Are you working for someone?” She pushed as she tightened her grip on her hilts.

Drift shook his helm, his face staying totally calm and relaxed. “No, but I know we both work on the same side.” He stated. “Your optics are blue and I can tell you aren’t evil as the Decepticons. I’ve been seeing you came here to this peaceful valley. Only an honorable and a peaceful Autobot would come to these parts.” He said as he looked around and then looks at her with a smile.

The figure blinked her optics confusingly at the mech, then lowers her weapons slowly and her stance returned to normal. “How do I know you’re not deceiving? That you are not pretending to be one of the Autobots?” She asked.

Drift only smiled at that question. It was coincidence because he used to be a Decepticon himself, but someone from his past told him the right direction. “Let’s just say it’s not honorable to lie to someone about yourself.”

It looked like he got the figure pretty good when he said ‘honorable’. Maybe she understand honor like he did which is a good thing. “Now, I can tell you aren’t a samurai, you are a ninja. I respect that highly, though in human culture they were sworn enemies to each other.”

“Hmm yes, I am a ninja. I share much honor and respect as well. In some cases it’s hard to carry those qualities when it feels like you’re the only one to carry it.” She told him.

“Ha ha, yes I can believe that feeling too honestly.” He said with a smile.

“What is your name? Fellow samurai?” She questioned him.

“Drift, and yours?”

The femme looks at him with a soft smile and twinkle her dark blue optics before she answered.

“Snowdew.”
